We will be purchasing a treadmill next week (now that we have the space for one), but I thought I'd give myself a "move your office butt" - challenge to get myself started.
Challenge: Take the stairs at work.
I used to work on the 23rd floor, now we have moved down to 8th. 8 flights of stairs is quite doable, THESE particular flights of staris need a bit of working up to. They have very high steps, you see. Everyone hates the stairs here.
The goal is to take the stairs every morning, all the way to my floor. Except I keep forgetting that I'm supposed to, and head straight for the elevators instead.
Last Friday, I went downstairs to buy a snack in the afternoon (don't), and took the stairs back up...I made it to the 5th floor (with a break) and then gave up. I could have taken another break or two and walked all the way up but my office butt talked me into giving up. Hmm.

5 floors is great! When I worked on the 6th floor, I gave up on the 3rd or 4th.
